Technically tomorrow I am 22 weeks, but I don't think I'll change much from now til then.
I'm feeling pretty good. I still feel tired and sick every once and a while, especially if I eat fast, which is like every morning. That's when I usually get sick. 126 days left! I really feel like it's going by fast. I think being in school helps.
Sometimes when I'm walking around I "forget" I'm pregnant and that I'm starting to get a belly, then I'll walk by something and see my reflection and it takes me back for a sec. I always assumed that your belly would feel really heavy as it starts sticking out. But I really don't feel like I have 13 oz baby in there + weight that comes with pregnancy! But I guess 13 oz is still pretty small. And I'm sure many of you women would say, "just what til your full term, then you'll feel like your carrying a lot of weight around." I am just grateful it is somewhat gradual.
I haven't felt the baby move as much since my last appiontment a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping shes just sleeping or turned in a way that makes it hard to feel her movement. I went through a period of time where I was constantly feeling feeling her move, so sometimes it worries me. Maybe I was just mistaking her earlier movements with gas or something. : )
School and life

School and life are going good. McKay and I are taking 4 classes together, which has been awesome! McKay still drives the little kiddos around in the bus each day. : ) He also refs competitive boys basketball games up on campus. McKay is on 3 basketball teams! yes 3 I really don't know how he finds time for it. competitive, a boys league one where you pick your team, so it's a basically a bunch of friends from Montana, and a co-ed team with me, which has been a lot of fun. He had a league game last night and he was on FIRE! Which honestly isn't really rare, but it's fun to listen to the other team talk about how good he is. I just sit and smile and say "that's my husband!". Sorry no pics, I was doing the scoreboard which us wives are always asked to do. And I don't think I'll ever do it again! It was a type I had never used before and if you do one thing wrong or if you don't get the point up there in less then a half a sec after a shot was made, players FREAK out on you. That's why they have someone who writes it in the books you inpatient people! Sarah knows exactly what I'm talking about. Her and I yelled at a few people last night to zip it! I think we can laugh about it now. But It was so stressful I was afraid of going into labor. After the game I think a few players felt bad and said I could slap them in face... I was very tempted.
So in other words my days of dreaming to be a professional score keeper for the NBA are dead.

Hey! You're starting to look pregnant!
ReplyDeleteNext time players get whiny during your score keeping, just start subtracting points for unsportsman-like behavior.
ps Go McKay "Jimmer" Pearson!
ReplyDeleteReally! I no longer look like I ate too many tacos! Awesome. I never thought I would get excited about having extra weight in my stomach. And it's nice to be getting out of the stage where people look at you and wonder if you are gaining weight or if your pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but your update didn't show up on my blog. I'm glad I was just snooping! You are really starting to look pregnant! You are so dang cute! And you are so good about taking pictures! I only took pictures 4 days before I delivered! Isn't that awful?! (but I wasn't blogging then either) So keep up the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWay to go McKay!! I bet you are so proud Ashley! I did scoreboard once at a middle school game and I said then I would never do it again! The parents were horrible, & it was middle school for cryin out loud!
Jess, Ya I know, I'm not sure why it's not showing it as an update. It's done that a few times. I've tried to fix it but I'm not sure what is wrong. It's bugging me though. And Ya that horrible that middle parents can be that crazy! Some people just need angry mangement
ReplyDeleteI loved your reaction every time McKay got a compliment from the other team. You are such a cute, proud wifey.
ReplyDeleteAsh I am so excited for you! I am glad I found your new blog! I want to see you when you are in town next!
