School's out and memorial Day

So I think everyone's excited that schools out for the summer! sadly this does not include McKay and me. But this does mean that McKay is done busing til the fall. darn it, now he is going to have to spend more time with me! : ) The kids McKay picked up LOVED him! They thought he was the coolest bus driver ever!

Here is the lovely McKay modeling our new couches we got on Memorial Day. We love them! I'm having a hard time letting anyone sit on them. I hurried and snapped this picture then made McKay get off it. especially his feet!

Doesn't he look so happy on our new love seat! We have been looking for couches for a few months now and I was having a hard time making such a "big" choice. After our 5 furniture store (well McKay's 5 furnture store, my 10 and that's not including the internet) McKay said ok I am done, I never want to go to another furniture store again! I think this was the 4th picture cause I was having a hard time getting McKay to smile. silly boy!

Each year good ol' Rexburg has a farmer's market on friday night starting in May going through july. It's fun to see all the cool things people can make. Here's me sporting food storage vanilla milk. when I first heard it I thought it didn't sound very good. Hmm room temp milk, no thanks! But it was actually pretty good!

McKay with his Root beer milk! crazy! He really liked it though. I thought it was pretty good too. I think it brought him back to his childhood. Doesn't he look like a kid in a candy shop with his little milk carton.

Hiking & Biking too....

Over our week break we went for a drive southeast of Rexburg and we ran into a trail that looked fun so we took it and later on that evening we had a fire, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows!

This was pretty easy to be talked into! It was an awesome b-day present, Jazz won in overtime.

Not quite what I had in mind

Last night for dinner I thought it would be fun to make some bread bowls for my clam chowder soup (it was cold and rainy yesterday). So I found a recipe, started making it, then I had to go to what I thought was going to be a short meeting and during that time my bread was rising (bad idea) the meeting lasted twice as long as I thought it would, but I figured they would still be ok.

and my pitiful bread bowl. They turned out square and pretty thin. Well thankfully I have a loving husband...who will eat anything! and He actually said "It was one of my favorite meals!" oh sad! I didn't know if I should be mad or say thank you.

They actually turned out to be good bread sticks though.

1 down 2 to go!

McKay just got done with his first game in the tournament, and they killed them! I can see the championship on the horizon! McKay did awesome. He had the teams first 14 points and overall I think he had 25-30 points. Hope you're all packing your bags for the championship this weekend!

8-0 for wildcats!

Undefeated season for Wildcats! tournament starts March 23rd and the championship will be on 27th. (Its basically in the bag!) so come down and watch it!
As you can tell by this picture, we tend to draw large crowds ;) granted it was at 10 pm.

McKay had an awesome game tonight. I think he made around 25 points, he was 7 for 8 for free throws, and had some sweet assists. (I think the refs were a little crazy tonight, there were 3 technicals in this game! one was called on a player from our team and two for the other team)

I just got done watching McKay's game tonight. They are currently undefeated! And we are hoping they stay that way. McKay is the 3rd top scorer in the league. He is lots of fun to watch! He was averaging 19 pionts a game. (sorry this picture is blurry. My camera is not very good at taking capturing peope in motion)
